1. Scope of Processing Personal Data

III. Description and Scope of Data Processing

1. Provision of the Website

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing device. The following data is collected:

– Referring URLs and access time

We analyze the use of our website with the web analytics tool Google Analytics (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and log files is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR. No personal evaluation takes place. The analyses are based on anonymized data sets. The statistical analyses are stored for 14 months.

2. Cookies

We use cookies on our website to make our services more user-friendly. Cookies are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. The cookies remain stored until you delete them. The legal basis for processing your request is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b GDPR. We will delete your email address after your request has been processed.

4. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will immediately send an email to the provided email address containing a link. By clicking on this link, you confirm your newsletter subscription (double opt-in procedure). If this confirmation does not occur, we will delete the email address from our temporary list, and the subscription will not be processed.

By confirming your newsletter subscription, you consent to the storage of your email address, including the date of registration, your IP address, and the name of the newsletter you requested. We use your email address and the personal data collected at the same time solely for managing and sending you the newsletter you requested.

Our newsletters do not contain any tracking pixels, third-party advertising, or links to external websites that are not directly related to the content of our newsletter.

Each newsletter includes instructions on how to unsubscribe.

5. Online Shop

To place orders in our online shop, you must register once and choose a username and password. On future visits to our website, you can log in with your username and password and will not need to re-enter your address and payment information for each order. Your password is encrypted and cannot be viewed by us.

During registration, you must provide information such as your name, address, email address, and details of your preferred payment method. Your explicit consent is required for us to store this registration data (as your personal customer account). At the relevant point on the registration page, we will first inform you comprehensively about the purpose and scope of data processing. You can then give your consent by activating a checkbox. Your order data will also be stored in your customer account.

You can view and change the data in your customer account, such as your chosen payment method and delivery address, at any time. When you update information, we retain a copy of your original information to clarify any questions between you and us.

You can object to the use of your data for the aforementioned purpose at any time. In this case, a complete registration is required for each order. Objections should be sent to the address in Chapter 1 of this Privacy Policy.

We delete all data that we are not legally required to retain, e.g., for accounting purposes, as soon as the order is completed.

You have the option to delete your customer account at any time, provided there are no open orders.

6. Social Plugins

All integrated social plugins operate using the two-click method; this means that a plugin only starts recording your browsing behavior after you have explicitly activated the plugin by clicking on it. If you are logged into your account on a social media platform while visiting our website, your visit can be associated with your user account after you activate the plugin (first click).
